Journey of an orphan
It is estimated that there are more than 20 million orphans in India.
In the misery, the substandard and unsafe housing, the violence of shantytowns and certain villages, these children wander, deprived of the protection of their family, in search of something to survive, feeding on detritus most of the time. They live in insecurity and the most shattering destitution, deprived of the most basic needs. From an early age, they are pushed into drugs, prostitution and delinquency. Orphans are victims of incessant physical and mental violence, malnutrition, disease, and lack of access to education.
The Prāṇāyu Orphanage Project is a great hope for these children. The orphans in Prāṇāyu will live in a very healthy environment where they will feel safe physically, healthily, emotionally and psychologically. Protected, cared for, respected, pampered, and esteemed they will have access to care, to education. Prāṇāyu Orphanage promotes respect for the basic and elaborate rights of every child and will consider them as part of a larger family.
They will be accompanied, supported and followed throughout their journey who can always find shelter and support at the Prāṇāyu orphanage.
Prāṇāyu orphanage leads the orphans gathered:
- to know happiness and serenity,
- to fully develop their potentials,
- to build a better world.
