ĀYURVEDIK HEALTH LAKṢANA-S

The concept of health in Ᾱyurvedic medicine is defined on the somatic, psychic, intellectual levels...

Patients consistently following Ᾱyurvedic treatment observe:

- Progressive increase of immune resistance and gradual disappearance of recent or old symptoms resulting from imbalances or chronic or acute illnesses ;
- Improved physical abilities (flexibility, endurance ...) and intellectual (memory, IQ, QE ...)
- Growing physical and psychic self-confidence, reduction of addictions (food, tobacco, consumption ...), reinforcement of self-control (emotional, psychic ...) ;
- Increase in cognitive consistency, coherence, resilience and harmonization between acts, words, thoughts.

The sage Caraka expresses the virtue of the Ᾱyurvedic sciences by the following metaphor:
'The high merits [of the Ayurveda] reach both worlds' (CS sū. I. 43).

Then, the Venerable Caraka, states what all the happy practitioners of the Ᾱyurveda have experienced:
'Whoever has experienced the holistic improvement provided by Ayurveda, never makes a U-turn' (CS śā 151).
